| Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck CSB | Mission: The Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck Community Services Board is an organization, established by State law and representing the ten county governments, which is entrusted with responsibility for the provision of services to meet the needs of the individuals and their families who have problems associated with mental health, substance abuse, mental retardation, and developmental disabilities and delays experienced by infants and toddlers.
It is the mission of the Community Services Board to continually measure and assess the needs of its constituency; to plan for their effective treatment; to marshal the resources necessary to do so; to develop and implement the comprehensive clinical and support services needed, and to inform the public of the services offered. It is the further commitment of the Community Services Board that it will unfailingly advocate for its constituency, while actively working to prevent the occurrence of emotional and developmental disabilities, using every opportunity to educate the public about the nature of those disabilities and the dignity and worth of the persons who may have them.
Finally, the Community Services Board pledges that its services will be rendered with the highest professional competencies, with compassion, patience and fairness, and with the fullest participation and approval of the people we serve.
